A small pouch
Two panels sewn at the sides and bottom: the simplest thing that is also a real object.
1. Open the sample
Choose Samples > Pouches > Open pouch, 110 x 150 mm. For a phone pouch with a flap or a long pencil pouch, pick those instead; the steps are the same.
2. Look at the pieces
The Pattern view shows the pouch's panels with their stitch holes. Each one is a plain piece you can select, resize and edit like any drawing.
3. See the pouch take shape
In Assembly, the panels are stacked. Open the 3D view and use Together / Exploded to see them separate. Detect seams lists the stitching that joins the panels.
4. Change the size
Select a panel in Assembly and change its width and height in the bar. Do the same for the other panel so they match; the stitch holes keep their pitch and their distance from the edge.
5. Add a finishing touch
- Round the edges with the Edger in the part bar.
- Place a snap on a flap with the Hardware tool, and use Through to carry the hole to the layer under it.
6. Export
Send SVG or DXF to your laser or cutter, or print true-size PDF templates.
